When an insured wants to increase the sum-insured of their policy by paying a higher insurance premium, the process is known as top-up of the insurance policy.
To opt for top-up of an insurance policy, the employee would have to share this information with the respective Relationship Manager of their company. Topping-up of an insurance policy requires reconciling from the insurer's end and if yes, then how much would be the premium paid by the insured.
