Track status of endorsements

Endorsements are processed on a monthly basis and to ensure that employees can activate their benefits smoothly and on time, regularly checking endorsement process helps the HR take required action to complete endorsement, it also helps employee data reach Nova in a timely manner.

There are three stages of tracking of endorsements in the Nova Portal:


  1. Missing Data : Gives information about the employees who have been invited but whose details are missing/incomplete. It requires action from your end, to either fill in the missing details or send a reminder mail.
  2. Approval Pending: This requires action from your end, wherein you will have to approve the employee data once it is updated. Persons whose name icons appear in yellow are the dependents.
  3. Ready for Nova: This portion gives the details of those whose data have been updated and approved and ready for Nova to send to the insurer to activate benefits.

To smoothly track the endorsement batch:

  • Log into the Nova Portal and go to “Admin” and then”Endorsement” (to the left side of the Admin Dashboard). You can choose to check “Missing Data”/ “Approval Pending”/ “Ready for Nova” by clicking on the respective tabs.

  • To view Missing Data:

    1. Click on “View Missing Data”
    2. You can add the missing data by clicking edit OR choose to send a reminder email to the employees by clicking on”Send reminders to all”.
    3. By clicking on “Send Reminder”, Nova will send an automated message to the employees’ email to activate their benefits by logging in to the Nova Portal.
  • To view the data in Approval Pending:

    1. Click on “Approve Pending Changes”.

    2. To approve all pending data, click on “Approve All” OR if you wish to approve only a few employee data, you can select them individually and approve them.

      Note: The employee icons in blue are employee data and those in yellow are the dependents of the employee(s).


  • To check which employees data have been collected and Ready for Nova:

    1. Click on “Ready for Nova”.

    Once the data is in this section, they will be verified by Nova and sent to the insurer, who will then verify and communicate the confirmation to Nova and Nova will issue E-Cards to the employees.

To give an overview of the tracking process- Step 1 involves collection of data and then comes Step 2 wherein the data is verified by Nova and sent to the insurer, who will send a confirmation and finally, Step 3 Nova will activate benefits of the employee(s) and issue an e-card/medi card.

The whole process takes about 15 days, unless there are missing/incomplete data, which then delays the process.
