What is a corporate buffer and how does it work?

Corporate buffer is an extended pool of coverage provided to an employee at an organization level. This can be availed in case of any medical emergency falling under listed critical illness, after exhaustion of individual employee’s group heath policy. 

How does Corporate Buffer works? 
In order to avail corporate buffer facility, an employee is required to share their request to their company's HR. This facility is provided to employees to have an extra amount of coverage in case the sum insured of their current policy exhausts due to an ongoing medical procedure. Once your HR approves of the request, the HR will share this with the relevant team at Nova to get an approval from the insurer to avail this facility.  The insurer will verify if the request meets the policy guidelines and the status of the same will be informed to the employee either from their HR or Nova's team.
