What to do if the hospital refuses cashless payment?

As a general rule, cashless facilities can be availed only in network hospitals and as for non-network hospitals, only a reimbursement claim can be raised.

In case of denial of cashless claim in a non-network hospital, after receiving the treatment, pay for the treatment out of your own pocket and submit the reimbursement claim documents to your insurance company for reimbursement.

A network hospital is normally not supposed to deny cashless facilities as long as you have your e-card.

You can find your e-card in the Nova Portal under your "Health Insurance" tab when you log in using your corporate email ID.
